Kelly Summy, President

Kelly Summy has 40 years experience as a professional farm manager. He is an accredited farm manager (AFM) , having passed written exams and adheres to the code of ethics published by the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.
Kelly has 15 years of banking experience. 6 years at Co. Bluffs Savings Bank as a farm manager, loan officer and trust officer; 2 years with Hawkeye Bank as a regional farm manager; 7 years as a farm manager with First Commerce Bank; and 2 trips to the Slovak Republic as an Ag Consultant.
He is a native of Crescent, Iowa where he grew up on the family farm. Kelly is a graduate of Co. Bluffs Thomas Jefferson High School and has a B.S. degree in Ag Business from Iowa State University.

Evan Summy, Vice President

Evan joined Midwest Ag Services, Inc. in January, 2012 as an associate manager. He graduated from Iowa State University in 2011 with a B.S. degree in Business Management. He is a licensed Iowa real estate salesperson. Evan also has an Iowa associate real estate appraisers license. He is a member of the American Society of Farm Managers & Rural Appraisers. Evan serves on the executive board & the regular board of directors for the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the board of directors for the Iowa Western Mutual Insurance Association. Evan is a member of the Council Bluffs, Iowa Chamber Ag Committee and a board member of the Mid-Day Optimist Club. Evan was a graduate of the Leadership Council Bluffs program class of 26. Evan received the ASFMRA Iowa Chapter Early Career Award in February 2016. Evan was recognized by the Midlands Business Journal as a 2016 40 Under 40 award winner.
James S. Johnston, Salesperson

Jim is a native of Turin, Iowa in Monona County. He attended Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa majoring in Psychology and Business Administration. Returning from college to the farm, Jim operated up to 8,000 acres for 43 years and has been in the real estate business for 12 years managing and selling farms. Jim has been active in many ag. businesses, owning and managing a grain elevator, trucking company and cattle feeding operation. He and his wife Trudy have two grown children and six grandchildren.
